Soft Plastics O Flute Solid Carbide Bit
Soft Plastic O Flute router bits are used for machining plastic materials such as PVC, Styrene, ABS, HDPE and Aluminum. Upshear bits are more commonly used to help reduce chips melting together back to the base material. Downshear bits are more common for thinner materials that need the downshear force to assist in workpiece clamping. Typically smaller diameters are used to part material for yield.
