Slow Spiral Upcut Roughing router bits are used when the top surface of the material doesn't need to have an excellent finish. The Slow Spiral geometry facilitates excellent cutting in hardwoods, solid surface, HDPE, LDPE, HPL and other hard plastics. Upshear router bits are preferred when chip evacuation is most important. The common applications are sizing, trimming and removing large amounts of material quickly. Increase the number of flutes if fast feedrate is required. Used on 5 axis, point-to-point machines
