The Tapered Ball Nose Upcut Solid Carbide Bit is used for leaving a groove with a radius in the bottom, shaping solid wood for millwork and decorative cuts. The tapered portion of the tool allows for a finer detailing than it's straight ball end counterpart. These are excellent for producing rounds and contours on CNC machines. Best used in 5 axis, point-to-point, router tables, and some handheld routers.
