Hinge Boring Bit PCD (Diamond)

The Diamond Hinge Bit is an extremely high quality steel bodied drill bit. There are two cutting edges and two spur diamond blades with a perfect center point. The shank has a flat to assist with tool hold down. This hinge bit can be used on a cnc machine with a flat shank adapter. The bit is designed for blind holes in solid wood, chipboard, and laminated panels for hardware. The life of the diamond tool compared to it's carbide counterpart is in excess of 20X the life of a carbide tipped hinge drill bit.
